Explore a Vintage Collection of Letterhead, Brochures & Stamps.

Step into a rich visual history of graphic design through Howard Levy’s personal collection of vintage printed ephemera. Howard will share highlights from several hundred letterheads spanning more than a century, from elaborate Victorian typography and elegant Art Deco compositions to playful designs from the 1940s and ’50s.

You’ll encounter oversized circus and cartoonist letterheads, striking international typographic designs, vintage logos from famous brands, and even one spectacular piece that incorporates nearly every design cliché imaginable. The collection also includes vintage postcards, travel and food brochures, luggage tags, matchbox labels, product labels, and other printed treasures selected for their remarkable illustration, typography, composition, and cultural character, along with a collection of 15,000 postage stamps.

Howard will guide us through some of his favorite and most unusual finds. You’ll also have time to explore the collection at your own pace, discover your own favorites, and connect with fellow designers.

Brunch will be served.
