The firm of 2013 is a different studio from the average agency of 2007. The recession brought new challenges and opportunities for designers, design firms, clients and brands. Agencies are smaller and have learned to do more with less — less staff, profit margins, and mark-ups. Social media has given everyone a platform to voice their opinion and companies are afraid. Apple, 99Designs and crowdsourcing have made everyone a designer. Design education has improved and schools are pumping out record numbers of graduates. Do these issues keep you up at night? If so, you are not alone. Come join us for a roundtable discussion on the issues that matter most and the best practices for building the design firm of the future.

Roundtable will be led by: Sheri L. Koetting, Co-Founder and Chief Strategist of MSLK, a boutique design and marketing agency that specializes in reinvigorating fashion and beauty brands through 360° brand positioning — from overall brand identity, to packaging, retail experience, websites, and social media campaigns.
