Join us for a talk with Michael Donovan and Nancye Green of Donovan/Green. We will talk about the life cycle of their consultancy, investing in clients’ businesses, holding leadership positions on boards and design organizations and achieving work/life balance.

How do they do it all? This Spark Studio will be a fascinating chance to learn from two greats in our field.

Donovan/Green was founded in 1974, and the firm soon became an award-winning design consultancy. It specializes in addressing the complex communication challenges of corporations, startups and non-profits. Some clients have been: American Girl Place, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Proctor & Gamble, Texas Instruments, Hoffman-La Roche and American Express. After selling their firm to CKS, they pursued entrepreneurial opportunities, corporate branding and leadership positions. In 2008 they started Donovan/Green 2.0, which formed unique partnerships with several clients.

Michael and Nancy's leadership roles in the design and business sectors have included board positions at AIGA, the International Design Conference in Aspen, the Society of Environmental Graphic Design, Waterworks, Hallmark, Proctor & Gamble, and the Parsons School of Design. In 2014 they were honored for lifetime design leadership with the prestigious AIGA medal.
