Power Lunch: Successful Partnerships

Join us for our monthly members-only online Power Lunch. Held on the fourth Wednesday of every month, our Power Lunches are an opportunity to learn directly from other design business owners and discuss best practices and issues in a transparent, intimate setting with the goal of improving your business.

This month we’ll be talking about collaboration and successful partnerships. It’s often said that no man is an island, and in the creative industry, producing a project requires coordination among many people, often assembling a team of collaborators that can include writers, photographers, web developers, and more. How do you find the best partners to work with; and do you have one key partner for each role, or keep a deep roster to match expertise to each project? What platforms do you use to coordinate and communicate? When do you bring partners into the process – the pitch or during the project? Do you “white label” external partners, or present each to your client in a transparent fashion? We’ll be discussing these questions and more, sharing stories of success and cautionary tales, so bring your questions and tips for successful collaboration.
